yoga right away

stayed up super late and I dragged us out of bed before noon because otherwise we wouldn't have gotten anything productive done today; Tyrone needed a haircut (badly) and we had stuff to do before yoga ie: I needed a new dress and our couch needed a SERIOUS slipcover. we're having a christmas party next weekend and it was either paint the living room or buy a new slipcover and slipcover won out because 1. the old one was hideous and I tried bleaching it this week and it made the wine stains more prominent (great), and 2. because it's less effort than painting a whole room a day. but the painting is still happening, oh yes.I bought too much stuff at F21 as per usual and by that I mean I bought a new outfit. I kind of play a game with myself while Tyrone is off doing something else: how much stuff can I try on/persuade myself to buy before he's done and comes and gives me a hard time about it?
anyway that outfit will make an appearance over some holiday party and I'm so excited to wear it. do any other ladies out there ever get all hyped-up over their new clothes and feel the need to wear them IMMEDIATELY?
Tyrone just told me he's jealous of his own hair.
I think that means it's time to leave.

this has made the rounds over FB and Twitter already but whatever it's going here too, just so I can come back andbecause I live in Winterpeg and eventually it had to go from being mild and lovely to bitterly cold I decided to do what was necessary and don on my (fleece-lined! yes!) leggings and Adventure Boots to brave the cold. Why? Because fuck the cold, that's why.
